LEGAL RESEARCH
Review of published
Federal primary resources (court
reports, constitution, statutory
law, administrative law) and
secondary sources (digests, citators,
annotations, encyclopedias, treatises)
with some references to important
Internet Web sites.

FEDERAL AND PA GOVERNMENT DOCUMENTS
Provides an introduction to Federal and Pennsylvania government documents, chiefly dealing with primary sources available in paper and online:
constitutions, statutory law, court cases, administrative regulations, and department and administrative agency web sites.

PENNSYLVANIA
LEGAL RESEARCH
Review of published Pennsylvania

RESEARCHING
LEGAL ETHICS
Review of both printed
and Internet sources for performing
research in legal ethics.

credit and one (1) hour of ethics,
professionalism or substance
abuse CLE credit.)
USING
THE INTERNET FOR LEGAL RESEARCH
Provides history of Internet, components
of the Internet, general web sites,
various types of search engines,
general and legal Web sites including
primary and secondary Web sites
for federal and Pennsylvania legal
information, general information
such as finding people, news and
periodical literature.
(Three (3) hours of substantive
law, practice and procedure CLE
credit and zero (0) hours of ethics,
professionalism or substance abuse
CLE credit.)
Fees
$50 per three-hour session
for individual with borrowing
card; $60 non-library card borrowers;
$25 for one-hour session with
borrowing card; $30 for non-library
card borrowers.
