Practice Tests

Now that you have installed the Securexam Student software on your laptop, you MUST take a practice exam.  Every student planning to use their laptop for exams, must take the practice exam and upload it to the PlanetSSI between April 23 and April 30, 2008 (11:00 p.m.)  No paper copies of the Securexam Installation Verification form should be returned to the Registrar.

If you do not take and upload your practice exam before the deadline, your PlanetSSI account will be disabled and you will not be allowed to take your exams on laptop.

As you run the practice exam, you will test your installation and become familiar with the entire exam process.

Before you start Securexam Student program to take the practice exam, print the Securexam Installation Verification form. For the practice exam, retype the entire document as your practice exam and upload it to PlanetSSI. You will not be able to access the form once you start the Securexam Student software.

Windows and Mac users will follow different steps explained below.

Now that you have installed the Securexam Student software on your laptop, you should run it and take a practice test.  It is in your best interest to a run practice test. As you are running the practice exam, you will test your installation and become familiar with the entire exam process.

If you experience problems during the software installation or during or after you run a practice test, you should check troubleshooting tips provided by vendor.

If you cannot resolve issues by yourself, please contact Manson Seto (Room 114C x1059) or Milan Komljenovic (Room 128, x5533) on the 1st floor of the Law Library. If the law school staff is unable to resolve the problem, they will contact the vendor.  If your problem cannot be resolved or resolved prior to your examination, you will be required to have to write your exam into a Blue Book.
