About PlanetSSI
PlanetSSI is a web-based exam management system. Depending on whether you are a Windows or MAC users, you will use Planett SSI for different features.

PlanetSSI has several additional features which the law school will not be using this exam period. These features are not necessary to take exams. We recommend that students test and use only the features explained on this page.
Software Download - Getting Started
The Registrar will set up your PlanetSSI account. Your username will be your Duquesne University email address, and your password will be your exam ID number. Once you receive your Exam ID, you may go to www.planetssi.com to log into your account and download the Securexam Student software. You will be able to access PlanetSSI starting Wednesday, April 23, 2008 from 1:00 a.m.
1. Log In
When you first visit PlanetSSI, you will see a login area on the left side of the main page. Use the login fields to enter the email address and password and then click the 
button.
When your Log In is complete, you will be taken to your account’s home page.
2. Download Software
To download the Securexam Student software, click on the Download button. The following page will open:
Click on the Securexam Student logo. The following page will open:
Click on the PC version to download software for PC, or to Mac version to download software for Mac.
3. Logout
When you finish file download, logout from PlanetSSI using the logout button:
4. Install the Software
You MUST uninstall the previous version of the software first, if you used your laptop for last semester's exams. After the uninstall is complete, follow the installation instructions for Securexam Student.
5. Practice
Once the Securexam software is successfully installed, run a practice exam. You must run a practice exam, otherwise you will not be allowed to take exams using a laptop. When you run the practice exam, you will be asked to type the text from the Software Installation Verification form document. Please print this document before you start the practice exam. Otherwise, you will not be able to view or print it once Securexam Student is started.
