Congressional Universe is an excellent resource for legislative history research.  It provides access to the CIS Index which indexes and abstracts congressional publications and CIS legislative histories as well as provides access to the full text of congressional reports, documents, prints, bills and Congressional Record, public laws, United States Code Service.

Hein On-line provides a number of search and browse features for over two hundred law reviews and the Federal Register, providing the exact page image of legal journals.  Journal holdings typically begin from a journal's inception to its most current volume.  Holdings information is included in SOLCAT for each title. ACLL users limited to in library access.

Index Master provides the table of contents for treatises.  It contains over 8,000 legal titles from over 65 legal publishers.  It is also searchable by author, keyword, title or publisher.

LegalTrac offers indexing for over 800 major law reviews, legal newspapers, specialty law publications, bar association journals and thousands of law-related articles from general interest publications.  Titles with full-text holdings may be identified by searching SOLCAT by title.

Lexis is a full-text legal information retrieval system. Full access is restricted to Duquesne University Law Students. Allegheny County Law Library access is limited to: PENNSYLVANIA court cases, statutes (legislative materials), administrative materials, Pennsylvania journals and law reviews, and Pennsylvania secondary materials. ACLL users may also access to FEDERAL materials includes: cases, statutes (congressional materials), and administrative materials. Additionally, appellate cases, statutes and administrative codes from all 50 states are available to ACLL users. ACLL users also have access to SHEPARD's CITATIONS for the entire database.

LoisLaw

Full-text legal information retrieval system. It currently posses case law for Supreme Court (1899- ), all federal circuits (1971- ) and the U.S. Code, C.F.R. and Federal Register. For Pennsylvania, it includes Supreme Court from 1924, Superior Court from 1923 and Commonwealth Court from 1970, as well as statutory and administrative law.
